Thermography is a non-contact, non-invasive procedure which captures and records temperature variations on the skin. The skin is the body’s most intelligent organ and is “wired” with a communication network connecting all other organs and physiological processes in the body. The skin responds to physiological changes and a thermography device observes those changes.
Assessments of these changes are reported by medical professionals trained to correlate thermal findings with a person’s health history and concerns.
Inflammatory responses and inflammation associated diseases (which create a thermal pattern and is recognized by thermography) is globally recognized as the number one health issue in the world.
There is no radiation emitted during this test which makes it a safe way to learn about what is going on within your body. Regular annual screenings with thermography make it easy to detect abnormalities and monitor changes within the body. Get ready to have another tool at your disposal which will put you in the driver’s seat for being proactive in your health!

Breast thermography is a simple, pain-free, and safe way to monitor your breast health. There is absolutely no touching, no radiation, and no breast compression!
In your first year of thermography, two breast scans are performed 90 days apart. Your first scan is to establish your baseline. Your baseline scan represents your unique thermal fingerprint—a pattern that will only change due to a developing pathology. The 90-day follow-up is very important as if there are inflammatory changes present, we can identify them immediately. There is NO substitute for establishing an accurate baseline! All subsequent testing will be compared to previous scans and your baseline and is typically recommended once per year if there are no thermal changes in the first two scans. If there are any suspicious changes in your thermogram, the physician interpreting your scan will provide the recommended time frame for your next follow-up scan.
Women’s Initial Breast Study: $175
Women’s Follow-Up Breast Study: $150
Your appointment will take approximately 30 minutes. You will disrobe of all upper body clothing and jewelry behind the privacy curtain to begin acclimating to the room’s temperature. Prior to your scan, we will review your intake form with you. Please be sure to inform us of any recent skin lesions on your breasts that may affect the results. Thermal images of the breasts and surrounding areas will then be taken. Following your scan, you may redress and come around the privacy curtain to the desk where we will review your images with you and answer any questions you may have. Your scans will be sent to a physician for interpretation. Reports are normally back within 48 hours and will be securely e-mailed to you (unless alternate method requested).
Note: you must wait 3 months after pregnancy, nursing, major breast surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation before having a breast scan, and at least 1 month after a biopsy or minor surgery, such as mole removal, for results to be accurate.
Please note: It is important to remember that no test is 100% accurate. For this reason, we suggest a multifaceted approach to monitoring your breast health. As a reminder, thermography and mammography are detection methods and are NOT diagnostic tests for breast cancer. Only a biopsy can diagnose breast cancer.
The half body scan is our most popular scan. Many women choose to upgrade to this scan as a part of their yearly breast assessment. It is typically performed on the upper half of the body, and includes the head, neck, breasts, stomach, back, arms, and hands. This scan provides a wealth of information that can help you target the root cause of many issues.
Women’s Health Study (Upper Body-includes Breast Study): $300
Men’s Health Study (Upper Body): $300
The full body scan is a popular prevention scan. Both men and women choose to have this scan performed yearly, to monitor their total health. Full body scans evaluate everything from the top of the head to the bottom of the feet (includes the full breast series). This scan provides a wealth of information that can help you target the root cause of many issues or give you early warning signs of impending issues. (Please note–thermography cannot be used to assess the brain, prostate, or testes).
